Biography

Martin Muñoz

I was born in Ecuador in May 2005, where I discovered my love for music at a very young age. At the age of 12, my interest in the violin began when I found a violin stored in my room. I began my training as a self-taught person until my parents decided to put me with a teacher specialized in teaching the violin.

Over time, my passion for music led me to experience new emotions and sensations. Although it was difficult at first, I continued until I realized that I had fallen in love with the violin, and since then I have focused on it day by day until now.

I had the opportunity to perform alongside famous musicians, as well as participate in various stages in my native country, connecting with the public and sharing my art in concerts, cultural events and outdoor performances.

I deeply thank my parents, my brothers and my family for their unconditional support, as well as all my friends and acquaintances for their constant encouragement. In addition, I thank my teacher, Magister María de Lourdes Flores, who has been key in my training and growth as a violinist.

Now living in Vancouver, Canada, I continue to develop my professional career in technology, while also pursuing my studies in the violin. I combine classical tradition with modern styles, performing music in local venues and open spaces. My goal is to bring the magic of the violin to new audiences, creating unique moments through each performance.

“The violin is not only a musical instrument, it becomes an instrument to express feelings and emotions through melodious sound.”
